Supreme Glaziers Inc requires every crew to plan the work, identify hazards and follow this safety program together with the hiring company's project-specific rules. A foreman or crew lead coordinates the crew and communicates safety issues to the site lead.
All personnel work insured. The current certificate of insurance is available on request for qualified vendor setup.
Core program requirements
These requirements apply before work starts and throughout the shift, along with the controlling contractor's site plan.
PPE requirements
Hard hats, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, high-visibility apparel and appropriate work boots are required. Task-specific protection is added when the hazard assessment or site rules require it.
Fall protection
Crews use and inspect the fall-protection systems required for the task and site, including harnesses, approved tie-off points, guardrails and access equipment. Work at height follows the project fall-protection plan.
Safe glass handling
Before moving glass, the crew checks the unit, route, tools and lifting method. Team lifts or mechanical aids are used as needed; glass is secured in storage, the work area is controlled and broken glass is handled and disposed of safely.
Daily toolbox talks
The foreman reviews the day's scope, hazards, PPE, fall protection, glass-handling plan, equipment access and changes in weather or site conditions before work begins. Talks are documented when the project requires it.
OSHA compliance
Work is performed in accordance with applicable federal or state OSHA requirements and the hiring company's site rules. Unsafe conditions are stopped, reported and corrected before work resumes.
Insured personnel
All Supreme personnel work insured. The current COI is sent on request to companies with a qualified project or vendor setup in progress.
Field safety cycle
Plan before the shift
Review the scope, access, material path, equipment, fall exposures and emergency procedures with the site lead.
Talk before the task
Hold the toolbox talk, confirm required PPE and assign the lifting, spotting and glass-handling roles.
Stop, report and correct
Stop when conditions change or a hazard appears. Notify the foreman and site lead, correct the condition and re-brief the crew before resuming.
Project-specific orientation, documentation and safety procedures from the hiring company remain part of the controlling site requirements.
